Website Design Philosophy
Coding Standards
Coding standards are important to us. We always endeavor to build sites that conform to the latest web guidelines. This means with every project we make an analysis of the people that will using the site, and the software they use to view it.
In general we stick to the latest W3C standards for design, accessibilty and reliability across all platforms and browsers. All HTML markup is at least HTML 4.01 and normally xHTML 1.0. Design is acheived using CSS 1.0/2.0 to acheive the greatest level of accessibilty.
However it is worth mentioning one fairly sizeable proviso. Due to the diverse nature of the web - different platforms such as PC, Apple, Handheld, WebTV; and the various browsers available from Internet Explorer and Firefox to Safari and Opera - it often takes some flexibility within the standards to provide a cost effective solution to making the site viewable, and accessible to all.
If you have a particular concern or preference regarding a platfrom or browser then let us know. We can then tailor you site to fit your specific needs.
Whatever the case you can be sure your website will look, feel and work great wherever your clients log on from.
