We were asked to support in the design and implementation of an efficient database management system to handle millions of pieces of data. Product Management
Seafranceholidays encourages users to book short breaks to hundreds of locations in Europe. Therefore a database was required to manage the thousands of hotels and hundreds of thousands of pieces of pricing data. The site required a intuitive method of displaying and navigating all this information. We used custom php classes and functions fronting a MySQL database to achieve a clean intuitive design.

The quotation system on Seafranceholidays is one of our proudest achievements to date. Bringing together pinpoint accuracy in pricing data and instantly quoting for the user, according to their specific requirements, needed close consultation with the company, and a steep learning curve in how the travel industry works.
